About The Pescadero Fish Wrap

The Pescadero Fish Wrap started off as an idea in longtime local, Rob Skinner’s, mind. However, without the proper time and resources to be able to make the newsletter as amazing as he knew it could be, it was just an idea he kept thinking about and hoped it would one day come to life. His granddaughter, Bella Skinner, at the time a third-year Agricultural Communication major at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, had to start her Senior project and decided that starting the Pescadero Fish Wrap alongside her grandfather would be the perfect way to combine her passion for agriculture, the environment, her home community, and her skills as a communication major. The Pescadero Fish wrap is researched, written, and put together by locals, for locals in the Pescadero, San Gregorio, Butano, Loma Mar and La Honda Communities. The Pescadero Fish Wrap aims to inform these community residents on local news, upcoming events, and useful resources along with becoming a reliable resource for the communities to connect to one another.
